Mobile apps for your business operations

Keep field work connected to the office

We design mobile apps for field tasks, photographs and confirmations, connected to your business operations and shaped around the people using them.

Explore the solution

01 / Who it is for

Updates should not wait until everyone returns

An address in one message, photographs in another conversation and a completion update over the phone: the information exists, but following it is difficult. For a small team, an app could bring together the daily schedule and visit records. Across several teams, it could organise assignments by owner, area and access rights. For customers, it could provide request status or appointment confirmation. We begin with the places where people actually work and the actions they can comfortably complete on a small screen, including situations where their connection is unreliable.

02 / What the project can include

Useful actions within reach

01

Assignments with context

We design a clear view of assigned jobs, including the address, time window, relevant information and next steps. Each role gets the context needed for its work, without navigating all the screens used by the office.

02

Photographs and confirmations

We can include photographs, observations, materials used and stage confirmations within the job record. Together we define required information, permitted corrections and who reviews the record before a job can be closed.

03

Connected colleagues and customers

We connect phone actions to central records and design relevant notifications. Managers can receive updates and customers can access information approved for them, according to the channels and permissions agreed for the project.

03 / Illustrative example

Illustrative example: a home service visit

A technician sets off for a visit with the address, reported issue and relevant history on their phone. On arrival, they add photographs and findings. If additional work is needed, they request approval before proceeding. After the visit, they record materials used and confirm the completed stage. Office colleagues can prepare documents from the same record instead of searching through conversations. If offline work is included, the app clearly distinguishes information saved on the phone from updates already received by the office.

04 / How we work

Designed around a real working day

  1. 01

    Observe the work

We speak with field staff and follow a representative activity. We identify necessary information, periods without a connection and moments when using a phone is difficult.

  2. 02

    Choose essential actions

We decide what belongs on the phone and what stays at the office. We design short journeys and review them with future users before implementation.

  3. 03

    Connect the activity

We implement agreed actions, role access and information exchange with company systems. We define confirmations, error handling and rules for changes made by different people.

  4. 04

    Test in the field

We test the app on agreed devices in real working conditions. We refine readability, photograph uploads and recovery after interruptions before introducing it to the team.

05 / What you receive

What your team receives

  • A mobile app with agreed journeys and roles, checked on the devices included in the project.
  • Connections to company records and clear rules for sending, confirming and correcting information.
  • Usage and handover guidance, with responsibilities for distribution, updates and support.

What the project can include

Decisions before implementation

  • We agree devices, distribution and which functions work offline; none of these is assumed by default.
  • Camera access, location and notifications are included for agreed purposes, with permissions explained to users.
  • We define what happens if a phone is lost, access is withdrawn or two people change the same information.

Where we start

Discuss your project

Describe a working day for the person who will use the app: where they are, what information they receive and what they need to report to colleagues. We start with those actions.
